The best way is with a program called CPU-Z a free windows utility that will tell you everything you need to know about your memory and processor.

Both are memory, but only hard drive space do you store data on, while memory is used by your computer to run programs.

To find your memory right click on My computer and choose Properties, It will show you on the General tab. (ex. 512mb of RAM)

To find out hard drive space, double click on My computer. Right click on your hard drive ( most likely will be your C drive) then choose Properties. It will list Free space, used space and Capacity.

Memory is what the computer uses to store data for processing later.

Space refers to the hard drive and is often confused with memory

If you right click My Computer and then click properties. You should find the amount of RAM with your computer description.
