it happens because the drum is not balanced. when it happens you need to stop the washer and rearrange the clothes that are in there so the weight is balanced. then it will spin without jumping around.

Level out your clothes you might have too much going on one side. Or your putting a huge duvet cover that puts a strain on the machine.

Sounds to me like you have an unbalanced load. Open it up and realign your wash. Don't overload it either.

I think you can just reach in and put it back on track (the middle part). It is off somehow.

Sometimes socks get caught down inside,look and see and presto,it is fixed!
