i havent picked it up yet from computer place but i added dual core amd 3800 plus a upgrade compatible motherboard and more memory. and a second harddrive

Adding more memory means less computer freezing, and you can run more than the programs you could without your computer slowing down. You didn't specify your old CPU so I don't know about that because CPU makes a difference in speed. I thing AMD X2 Dual Core 3800 2GHz is not bad, but I have 1.8GHz and it is "Okay". But your computer will surely be better, because you have upgraded it.

your computer will no hopefully run like a dream unless you have something thats DOA or wont work. But due to the new cpu and ram, your computer will run like a dream.
