I do not have normal periods but then again I don't really keep track of them either I normally time them by my sister's period. I had all the period symptoms this month but I think I am now one day late I keep thinking I started but when I go to the bathroom it's just a clear discharge I am terrified I might be pregnant... but I don't want to take a test for fear of the answer.... so recap I had all the PMS symptoms but no period my sister started lastnight and when I counted my ovulation period it said I should have started by the 15th or 29th day today is the 30th day... If you are using birth control most kinds have a 1 in 100 chance of failure so one out of 100 women will get pregnant a year. That gives you a 1 in 10 chance in 10 years. That isn't really bad if you are married and don't mind having a child but for the rest of use two forms should be used. If you already have all the children you want you can have your husband fixed or get your tubes tied if he won't get snipped. If you are unmarried you are already using condoms for STD protection so adding a pill or shot would improve your odds of not having surprise pregnancies.
Talk to your doctor about all your options and pick two after this scare is past either way.
I would go ahead and get the home test they aren't very expensive and if you are pregnant you need to know so you can decide to abort or give birth. If the baby will be born you need to stop anything that might harm the baby like caffeine and alcohol and take prenatal vitamins. Even if you give it up for adoption you want your baby healthy.

Take a deep breathe. Now read the first 6 letters in your question. It sounds like it maybe pretty normal for you to be a few days late. If you were careful (I.E. used a condom/birth control and used it correctly) you should be fine. There is very little chance you would be preggers if you did everything right. I have had plenty of pregnancy scares but once its all said and done, I could see that I over reacted cause I was scared. It also never helps to take a pregnancy test. A lot of pregnancy centers will do them for free and confidentially.

hello Brianna my name is brandi and im a mom to 6 children well five and one on the way and not to scare you but all my pregnancies started out with a discharge and then feelings of my period getting ready to start but got a test and it was positive so i think your best bet would be get a test and get it over with thats the only way you will know. good luck sweety

1. periods are not regular in the teen years; that's just how it is.
2. have you had sex?
3. is it possible you have an STD?
4. have you lost or gained weight, travelled, been stressed out, etc.?
don't worry too much, but take a pregnancy test in 2 weeks.
(& why is ignorantprick perusing female questions? that's just plain pervy; don't take that crap.)

It may just be because your worrying, your period can delay coz of this. try not to stress out. have you had unprotected sex of late????
leave it a week and see what happens, if you dont get them in a week you will just have to buy a test. are you close to your sister, talk to her, she can go with you to get a test.
if it happens to be that your pregnant, its really not the end of the world!!!

Are you on the pill? If not people's menstrual cycle isn't always on the dot. So wait a couple of days if you still haven't got it........take a pregnancy test. Whether or not you are scared....If you are, you are, if you're not, you're not. That's life. Good luck.

Umm if your terrified of being pregnant then don't open ur legs.. and second if you worry yourself ur period won't come.. Take a test it's the only way to tell. We cannot predict it for you :)

worrying can delay your period but if you didn't wanna get pregnant you should have used contraception so you have no1 to blame but yourself sorry
