Or is it that Bush is trying to change the focus off of his low ratings?

Or maybe there is and if we had focused on that instead of Sadam there wouldn't be an attack...that is if there really is an attack.

What are your thoughts?

I think there really is a terror threat. It seems that Al Qaeda has plans. They already caused some uproar in the United Kingdom, where i live. I have seen some things changing here. The high way spaghetti junction which goes south and goes north had police there. They had so in case someone would try and bomb that junction. If that junction goes, no one can travel around. We seriously do have to watch out no matter where we are. It seems that these people who want to harm others are among us. I don't think Bush just wants to change the focus of his low ratings, i think he wants to save people's lives. Al Qaeda warns us all the time, it's nice to say that they are bluffing, but September 11 tells it all, we can't take whatever they are saying as a joke, we have to be careful and watch no matter where we are.

And even if we went after Osama Bin Laden, do you think all of this would have been avoided? I don't think so at all. We can get rid of one man, but there are too many like him out there who is willing to just harm people in the western society.

I believe there really is a terror threat. If we had concentrated our resources on the war in Afghanistan, we would have made it harder for Al Qaeda to regroup and strenghten. Maybe we would have captured bin Laden too, but instead, we went after Saddam.
