I'm American and I love England, or Britain, or the UK or whatever you call yourself. But the French have never been lovers of the English-speaking countries. I have French ancestry and speak the language fluently, and have been to France many times. I have never heard them mention the Queen. I can't imagine America having a King or Queen, although some of our politicians think they have divine rights. As for jealously, I doubt it very much. Long Live the Queen!

For one thing, our tourist industry has evolved around this country's heritage; buildings, ancient sites, monarchy, HISTORY! Secondly, you can't lose our "history" and, if "their" monarchy, i.e. kings and queens, had the misfortune to ask such ridiculous questions, and/or have no concept as to the correct usage, terminoligy and spelling of their own language then they deserved to be beheaded! Apart from that, Of course they're jealous - they topped all theirs!

We have Buckingham Palace, The London Eye, Big Ben, Blackpool Tower, Wembley Stadium, Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, The Globe, Stonehenge .. the list goes on ..
What tourist attractions do they have .. ?? .. The bloody Eiffel Tower n that's it !
They have nothing that represents them .. When people think of France they think of garlic smelling French twats who are rude and arrogant about their own language (not excepting that most of the world prefers to speak English rather than "beautiful french") and of course .. love too eat frogs legs and leopards tongues.
