I will not give them negative jerkwad anchors 20 seconds of my time. All the news does is spread misery, and make people feel like the world constantly stinks. There IS good in this world as well, yet they continue to thrive on negative, no wonder so many people are all f'ed up on meds. I will no longer watch news, I'd much rather watch National Geographic, animals are better than people anyway.

The news is controlled by the FED and they suck! I hate the news. look up Federal Reserve Fraud. Interesting stuff. Anyways, I hate watching the news, cause it's mostly negative.

i love National Geographic and discovery and all those :)

I still watch certain news shows. Mostly I watch our local channels to see what's going on around this town. I thank goodness for Discovery and the Animal Planet. I do-however-wonder why I pay almost $60. just to get reception. Another one of those things I wonder about.

I stopped watching news several years ago. Actually I dont own a tv anymore because at any given moment some horrible news clips pops out in your face. I read the news I want to know about.

my local channel tries to do a "feel good story" every day, and l have noticed that the other news channels are starting with that concept, CNN now has "hero" stories and NBC has the story about people that make a difference. altho there are not enough of these, it's a start.

i totally agree
sometimes i put the news on and they give me half a story or a half baked version , its more controlled than ever before

good things are happening too , so the news should cheer us up and tell us about the good things in the world instead of giving us depressing stories all the time

Um, two things here...

1. Ignorance is NOT bliss

2. "Little Timmy finished all of his chores today and got a gold star" is not news. Good things ARE in the news, when they are NEWSWORTHY.
