Well I got my period for the first time last month..well i think it was my period... the whole time last month it was brown? I just got it again this month and it is brown again?? Is something wrong with me? Is this my period??? Help?!

Yeah... so i'm 13... and its sorta like a medium color of brown... it happens basically for like 5 days a month .. although it only started last month.. but it did come this month same time too, so your saying its okay??

Yes, this could be your period. Since you are just starting out with having periods, the periods can be irregular for a time. Brown blood is just old blood and this is normal. New blood is bright red.

l would also let your mom know what's going on if you haven't and let your dr know when you have your next check up.

How old are you? This is normal for the first few months when beginning your cycle. There is no reason to panic. It is just your second cycle. If there are clots, then see a doctor. Talk to your mother, aunt, female teacher, nurse, etc. It should change within the next month or so to a normal red color. Have you ever been tested for anemia? It doesn't sound like you have it since your blood is dark. Good luck.

Nothings wrong with you....youre just having some brown discharge. Its normal around the time of your period.

Yep, exactly like me when i was 13, it gets redder next period, dont worry your growing up its normal to start with browny stuff in your nickers...

if it's your first period, it will definitely be different from what you expected. but don't worry, eventually it will turn more red and get more normal.
