It is normal to have a brownish discharge toward the end of your menstrual period. It is not normal if you're not on your period. Does it itch, burn, is their a foul odor? When you use the bathroom does it burn? You may have a yeast infection, or Urinary tract infection. It best to get evaluated by a doctor. This is not abnormal it occurs to millions of women, so don't be embarrassed. If you still refuse to see a doctor, you can try treating yourself with over-the-counter medicine like monistat, wear cotton underwear, avoid tight pants, and drink lots of water. Avoid using douches as these have a drying affect and washes away the normal flora that your body needs to fight infections. Also, avoid bathtub, use showers , until this is cleared up. I hope this helps, Good Luck.

Yes, if you were on your period, sometimes you can have a brownish discharge, even up to a week later.

Yes. That is old blood. Most women get it at the beginning or end of their periods. Completely normal, don't worry.
