Try to get it out by using a tweezers sterilized in alcohol. Just pour alcohol over the tweezers and dont dry it,it will air dry...If you cant pull it out you might have to use a needle or safety pin sterilized in alcohol to get it out. Good Luck!!!!

Considering the fact that it is in your foot, you probably do not have a good view of it for removal so forget the self-healing. There is also the probability that shards may have broken off from the main piece and you don't want to leave them in your foot. Go to an emergency room. They can treat this a lot better than you can.
I've pulled pieces of glass out of my hand when I was too close to an explosion that sent glass flying. It was a mess. The last piece of glass that really resisted removal turned out to be one of my bones. That scar is bothering me right now. I had no choice at the time about who was going to do the operating. You do. Take advantage of the fact and go to an ER. (They will also prevent infection. I was lucky enough that the blood flow washed everything out.)

Okay this happened to me, actually when I was 15, weird. Luckily my mom was home and she gouged it out with tweezers, it hurt like hell. You're gonna have to get somebody else to get it out for you cuz it's impossible to do it yourself (I tried just like you did). I would call a Patient First if you have one in the area and ask them what to do, or if you have another close friend or relative nearby call them and see if they can come over. Can you wait til somebody else is home? if so just stay off your foot cuz you don't want it to go farther in. GOOD LUCK!

Hmm chances are it came out in the soaking since your skin expands. If you're still afraid it's in there I guess just go to the Doctor tho I think patient first handles minor accidents like this all teh time for a lot cheaper. Personally if it doesn't hurt and you dont see it I wouldnt worry bout it.

Whatcha gotta go is first soak your foot in water. This should loosen the sink around the glass. Then you should get a pair of tweezers and pull it out.

If you don't have tweezers handy, and you can't get it out with just your fingers, you should go to someone to help. If you don't know anyone, go to a local pool-- the lifeguard should be able to help you.

Dont try to be a doctor go to the ER and get an x-ray it may be further in. This happened to someone i know...and she thought she got all the glass out but there was still a piece left in there years later. Be safe and let a doctor take it out if you cant

You can call the ER at a hospital and ask to speak to a nurse, who can help determine the severity of the injury and walk you thru a procedure to remove it safely.

I have used masking tape placed over the glass gently and then lifted it out...don't go digging if its deep tho!
