i would wait until you actually get pregnant or people won't leave you alone about it! they'll be all like "so when's the baby coming? is the oven cookin yet?" and goofy annoying stuff like that. i would want to tell people right after i got pregnant lol but my aunt and uncle waited until they were 3 or 4 months pregnant and it made the time go by so much faster for all of us who couldn't wait for them to have a kid!
and telling your husband when you get pregnant is the funnest part! you can empty out his sock or underwear drawer when he's gone and fill it with diapers. then put a little note in it that says some thing cute like "make room for baby" or some thing. =]]
have fun and good luck!!**

Well, we announced our plans to get married and start a family right away. What a mistake! It took us 8 months to conceive and people asked us constantly about it, which only added to the frustration.

With our second, we didn't tell anyone at all we were TTC. What a surprise for everyone when we broke the news. It was much more enjoyable the second time around without all the additional pressure from well meaning family and friends.

When I got preggers with #1 I was 22yrs old and not yet married to now my husband of 81/2 yrs. I was very shocked and very nervous about telling family members because of judgment. I ended up telling my family after the first ultra sound.

With #2 he was planned pregnancy and I ended up telling the family around 2 mos.
With #3 he was planned as well as #2 and told the family after the first ultra sound.
#4 which is on the way 7.5 weeks prego it was not planned but a surprise just like the first one. I have told my mom and mother in law but anticipating to tell our siblings and friends yet. I have no idea why.

HI! My hubby and I are TTC....we have been for 2 and a half months now...we have told my sisters and my hubby's mom and grandparents....my hubby and i have told both our best friends....we arent telling my parents because when i do finally get pregnant i want to have it be a surprise for them....i am going to make it a HUGE deal when i tell them when i get pregnant...i dont want to spoil the surprise aspect of it for them...they would be totally excited either way...but i want to take them by surprise...we have only told them that in the next couple years that we were going to ttc....so they think it wont be for a while...I dont tell anyone else though...my hubby and i have been married for 4 years and so everyone asks when we are going to have a baby and I tell them that we will when I am done with Grad school and have started my career....of course, this isnt entirely true...but it keeps them from asking again! haha.
Good luck to you!!!!

We didn't bother telling people we were trying cuz then you don't have to worry about the people who don't want you 2 to have kids trying to convince you to change your mind and the ones who want you to have kids aren't constantly saying oh your not pregnant yet or ARE YOU PREGNANT YET! we told everyone right away though when we did get pregnant I'm now 11weeks. In the end it's what ever you feel comfortable with. Good luck and Baby dust.

Well I did not tell my family bc I am rather shy about things like that but my close friends knew that my husband & I were thinking of trying. We were married for 6 months we we began to try and then 2 months later I was pregnant. I told my family when I was like 3 months bc I was so worried something would happen before then. Goodluck

I did tell people because I was so excited.....I just was overcome with this desire to be a mom and my husband wasn't on board at all so we fought about it for like a month so when he finally agreed to start ttc I was so excited I told all my friends....who immediately got p.o.ed at me when I got pregnant within a month of starting....especially the ones who'd been trying for years. I felt bad. If it was to do over I would have kept it to myself so I wouldn't have hurt the feelings of my friends who were ttc.

I waited til I was pregnant, except with my first, because it was a big deal after having two miscarriages and the doctor told me if I every wanted to have kids to have them now. So I told my mom that, but got pregnant that month.

Mine was an accident. But if I were trying Id probably keep it to myself until I became pregnant. What if it took awhile, then people would start feeling sorry and worried for you behind your back. Which would be embarrassing. Also I waited until I knew mine was healthy, I couldnt stand the thought of miscarriage and having to tell everyone.
