last year my younger brother friend came home from iraq and he looked so diffrent from how he looked before. i was really attracted to him. so we started to flirt ALOT and you can say that there is a mutual attraction. he calls me every week and says really nice things to me that let me know he might want something more than just flirting. But the thing that holds me back is that first he is my brothers friend and second he is 20 yrs old and i a 23 (age is a big thing for me) and third im afraid of what people will think especially his friends, mine, and my family.
what should i do?

heyy, well i don't think it matters that it's your brothers friend, you could just think of it as your brother is meeting you to new people, and the age difference doesn't even matter one bit. and you shuoldn't think of what people think, because everyone has different opinions, and you know, when you go out, you can't find someone perfect that is the same age as you, like c'mon lol that's just silly,
no one's at a perfect age where to date, you never know if he is the PERFECT guy anyways, if you really think that age is a big thing then maybe you should just look for someone else, whose older or same age..
and i don't think friends and family should jugde the way you want to like for a guy, even if he is younger,, it shouldn't matter.. it should just matter what's on the inside.. :)
i wish you good luck with everything [=

3 years is a fraction in life. i would only be concerned if it was maybe past 5 years but 3 years is really no big deal at all

if you like him keep flirting and maybe something great will happen between you. dont stop cause of the slightest age difference.

O and about what your friends think. who cares what they think, in the future it will only be you and who ever you pick to spend your life with. friends come and go but the few who stay by you, treat you well, and respect the decisons you make are the ones you need to hold onto.

good luck

Date him! Who cares if he's 3 years younger. He's been to Iraq. He's fought in a war. He's probably more mature than most guys in their 30s. You're the one who has to date him, not your friends so who cares what they think. And that fact that he's your brother's friend only means that 1, he's a good enough guy for your brother to hang out with and 2, he'll try extra hard not to hurt you. Go for it!!!

It doesn't hurt to see where things go. You never know until you try! It could turn out great for you. Life is always a learning experience.

Have you been up front and honest about your feelings with him? Try having a talk about the way you feel. Communication is key to everything.

Well three years isn't that big of a difference. I think that maybe you should talk to your little brother and see what his feelings our on the subject. Then take it from there. If he approves than thats great, if he doesn't he probably doesn't want to see you get hurt.

If your friends cant except him then that should be there problem and if you realy like him you should just go for it and see what happens. Who cares what other people think if he makes you happy...

first of all...dont care what anyone thinks but respect their opinion and feelings
i think you should talk to him and find out if the feelings are mutual before you go any further
i think its something you and him need to talk about. ask him about it before you worry about what other people think
