Now I'm around downtown Tampa a lot, what property will they put a baseball stadium in? Give me locations where it is available? From what I recall, not that much room.

Oh, Now that's a really, really, good question. I will have to think about that. Look at Ybor though, that might be a start. Also, make it a stadium with a retractable roof, for the people afraid of the thunderstorms. The Marlins do just fine though in the open weather.

And I forgot another problem is Legend's Field. Frankly, I wouldn't mind them playing there. A lot better than Trop.

But yeah, Ybor, the pink apartments on Nuccio Blvd. Get rid of them. Or maybe build on the waterfront. Still St. Pete in essence, but more accessible.

I also think Gateway could be a happy medium between St. Pete and Tampa.

Really the Park can be placed south of the Tampa Stadieum where there is a grass parking lot now. Remove The road between the two and build a parking garage(s) that can be used for both places. If done right the building of a parking garage with enough access to arriving vehicles and not charging at the arrival of the lot but charge when the vehicle leaves would reduce traffic in the surrounding area. The charge the same amount no matter how long your there right now anyway. The use of the garage would also help out during special events such as Gasparilla and the Florida State Fair, by using this parking facility to park cars and shuttle people to surrounding events, (Hartline listen, use your buses for this and earn some coo does for operating buses with passengers) Also Car dealers and Banks have large car sales on the land at the stadium now and have to est up tents and such. They would be able to provide parking for customers and enough room sheltered from the rain and sun for their products. The possibilities are endless with Both Stadiums being side by side and a large multistory garage. Two concerts could be placed at the same night.

Legends Field? Great park, but not a major league stadium. I cant even THINK of what Steinbrenner would say to that idea! However, there is quite a bit of land available in that area. The Drays could probably share parking facilities with the Bucs and Yankees. Could be interesting.
