There were two attempts to kill Osama when Clinton was in office.

Once they had an aerial drone that had him in the sights - but the time it would have taken to mobilize and attack it would have been too late.

The second time, they had information as to his exact location and Clinton asked for the go ahead from Congress to kill him.

It was the Republican's who blocked that action and did not allow it to happen.

Also I believe that Clinton was the first one to start up a terrorist watch.

So regardless of what he did with a cigar on free time - he did try to kill Osama prior to 9/11.

And if was so important to kill him, why didn't Bush look at that significance and the intellegence coming in on the coming attacks. Wouldn't that be your first priority as President - to first look at all immediate threats to our National Security?

a word he was saying.

Right and pigs fly.
Yup it is Bush's fault, every bad thing that ever has happened is Bush's fault. He killed Elvis, caused Pearl Harbor, bombed the twin towers and was the shooter on the grassy knoll.
Remember the media quoted "sources in the Bush Administration" He has a time machine, didn't you know that?

No, clinton did not try to kill osama bin laden, he had the opportunity to do so but government agencies did not feel that he was a big enough threat at the time to kill, so clinton chose not to go ahead with killing him, they did not want to deal with the media attention of killing someone who had done nothing to america even though they thought knew that he wanted to

Yes, but President Bush knows that Bin Laden was an ally in the past against Russia and is still a Bush ally! The coalition remains strong. Clinton was WRONG to try to kill Bin Laden and this caused Saddam to attack on 9/11. Bush was RIGHT to let him go from Tora Bora.

The fact is Clinton warned Bush about bin Laden, Bush CHOOSE not to head the warning. There is no 911 conspiracy, there is is only 911 stupidity. Bush bearers some the responsibility for this event. He has never even considered that he could be at fault and never will.

When ever Clinton tried to do anything, the Republicans would start yelling that he was doing whatever to divert attention away from the Monica Lewinski affair. Right wingers like to forget things that are inconvenient

Yes, it was the Republicans who blocked the action. And, these are the people who claim they now how to run a Government. Also, Bush didn't listen to the intelligence reports because he's stupid. Ben Laden owned up to the attacks on 9/11, and Bush went to chase Sadam Hussein.

Question: If I slapped you, would you slap my mother or me?

Bush would slap my mother, and let me go so I can slap other people. This is how idiotic he is!
