Hes ok, but i dont tend to have a good time with him
Friend b) asked later to go out Swimming, Hes funny, and i tend to enjoy myself around him
Problem BOTH is at the same time,,

Invite friend B to go the film as a way of getting to know friend A more ,then all three of you go swimming at a later date :)

Why on earth would you spend time with someone you don't have fun with when you could be spending it on someone you enjoy being around? Isn't the answer obvious. Accept the invitation to go swimming, then reciprocate by asking frind b to go see Harry Potter with you. That way you get to do what you want with the person you want. A No Brainer, surely.

Swimming.Even though swimming is exercise and exercise about as much fun as having all of my teeth pulled out with a pair of pliers even that has to be better than Harry Potter

If you already accepted friend a's invitation to the movie you should honor that committment and go.
If not, go swimming where you'll have more fun.
