im going into middle school abd really want a top locker. whats it like to have a bottom locker and how are lockers normally assigned?

Bottom lockers suck.
They are usually given out according to last name, or the first class you have. I'm tall [6'2"] and I had a bottom locker, and I ended up paying the guy with the top locker above me so I could have his.

Just be glad you HAVE a locker, whether it be top or bottom. Students in my town do not have lockers anymore. They were taken out completely. When I was in school I had a top locker and the only advantage is that it is easier to reach. The person on the bottom might have a book dropped on their head or something. Our lockers were assigned by the administration.

Top of bottom - what is the difference? Are you too tall? Or do not like bending over?
The assignments are given by the asst principal or another "underling" of the Admin.
If you are in some way disabled, go to the school this week or next and ask for a certain assignment. They should comply if it is a real reason and not just a whim of yours.

The lockers in my high school go from the floor to the ceiling (not really but there aren't any top or bottom).
