In a way. I guess it's more like "Am I really related to any of these people?".
I'm talking about character rather than looks.

When I was a kid my dad pulled a prank on me and told me I was adopted cause my eyes were brown and no one in the family had brown eyes. I was crushed.
Yet as I grew up I wished more and more it was true.

No, I look at my family and wish that I was adopted. (that way I could search for my real family-hopefully not as crazy.)

All the time, I don't look like any of them, I don't act like any of them, and I don't feel like I am related to them in any way...maybe I am adopted

My family is very out there and I'm not at all. I play by the rules and I am doing well with my life...the only other person doing well is my father...the rest are losers...
Just happy I took after my father instead!

Growing up I thought that cause of the difference of opinion, now I know it is true. They all died of cancer, I'm overweight and have high blood pressure and diabetes......so much for family history idea.

i thank the goddess each and every day that i was, in fact, adopted. all i need is a little therapy, but they can't cure blood relatives.
