Do u like ur own name? If not what other name do u wish u had and why?

It came to me bacause usually when we don't know someone else's name we are guesing like " he looks like a Josh, or she looks like a Martha" but why do we do that? I don't really know

I like it more now than I used to, since it rhymes with so many things....... Gail rhymes with a word starting with almost every letter of the alphabet (including male, pail and whale, which is not a good thing to make poems about, in 4th grade, let me tell you). But I'm not in 4th grade any more and now I like it!

My name is Natalina and i love it so much, because it is a name that could be for a little girl, but can be transformed into adulthood and it has flair to it. When i was like 5 or 6 though i didn't like it because there was nothing with my name on it.....you know those silly little name keychains and stuff. I'm happy with my name and haven't met very many, but it's not too weird....

I like my name a lot. Older names are coming back into flair, but mine is still unique. I've only met two other Joans who were my age, and one preferred to be called Joanie. (I would never add an "ie" when introducing myself, because I don't want to sound like I'm perpetually five years old, but I love it for little girls). I started calling myself Joan in kindergarten because I thought it sounded more grown up, but I like Joanie if it's family (probably wouldn't allow it from a boyfriend unless he let me call him Mikey or Robby).

I dont like my name but I dont know what else I would call myself so I spose I will keep it. I get called "Carla" all the time which is not my name and no where near the same as my name so maybe I "look" like a Carla.

My name is Danielle and i hated it as a child...i think it's cool now. I wanted my name to be Tiffany as a kid. Now, people always say i look like an Angela. which was going to be my name!!! My parents second choice!

Currently, I'm an "emo", as my friends say. -.- So, naturally, I don't like my name, "Chloe". To me, it sounds quite snobbish. However, I don't really have a particular name I wish I had. Sooner or later, I'll realize how "pretty" my name is. But it just sounds too LYKE OMG to me -___-;;

My name is a bit ponderous, as people always mis-pronounce it. it's Tamara, but most people say Tamra or Tamera.

So I just go by Tammy.

But, I've always wished my name was Kytola. It was my great-grandmother's maiden name. I've always adored it.
