I LOVE my Bella Band. I can wear all of my pre-pregnancy jeans thanks to the Bella Band. You can get the cheaper one, though, and it is just as good. I think it's called "Belly Band". It's way cheaper than paying $50.00 a pair for maternity jeans, especially if you don't really need them yet.

Junk. I had to hike it down and my (maternity) pants back up every time I stood up. It looks pretty silly; super-tight nylon is not much of a "bottom of a t-shirt" look. You can tell pants are undone underneath. It's not particularly comfortable, especially if you're at all hot. Etc, etc.
Finding a too-small t-shirt with a high spandex content and cutting off the top will get you a reasonable approximation.
If you hate shopping, my advice would be to suck it up long enough to hit eBay or Craigslist or some such, and find a maternity clothing _lot_ and try to get it all in one go.

If your going to spend 30 bucks on a bell band, you might as well buy a new pair of pants for that price or even two for that price. Motherhood maternity sells pants cheaper than 20 bucks, i bought a few a couple months ago. Shopping for Maternity clothes really isnt that bad, it was exciting for me, clothes to show off my belly....i would find shirts that would cost 12 to19 dollars....and most of the time you just purchase your pre-pregnancy size......

I bought one and never used it. It didnt really work for me and being that I knew my pants were unbuttoned and unzipped, I felt like everyone else knew and could see my panties lol. Ive heard great things about them though. I just bought some maternity pants online at oldnavy.com. Their sizes in maternity are the same before you got pregnant so their clothes fit me well. And not too pricey either. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy :)

Here's a tip for you. Go and get out (or buy if you don't have one) a t-shirt that is too small for you, cut the bottom off and you have your bella band for free or close to it. The stretchy cotton of t-shirts makes them great for this.
Kat- 7 pregnancies and cheap! learned a lot of tricks lol

they work for some, not for others. If you are slim it will likely be fine, but heavier women (like me, lol!) find that they tend to roll down anyway.
