I dont feel safe anywhere.Even at church I expect someone 2 bust in and start shooting. And yesterday I went to the movies to c HP, and the hole time I kept thinkin that a fire was going to happen and everyone would trample each other or something. And its not just public places, like I dont even feel safe in my home.If a hear a plane near by I think its gonna crash on our house. im home alone alot, sometimes I think robbers r in my house with me but I just cant see them.Whenever I walk down a street I feel like everyones watching me. And its not just my safety, Im terrified that my gf is gonna dissappear or get kidnapped or something and alot of times when my mom leaves 4 work i get the feeling that I wont ever see her again.I wasnt always like this though.Since i started to feel this way(like the past 4-5 months) ive lost 15lbs and I cant sleep right anymore. I feel like I should just die right now that way i wont have to worry anymore. Am I parinoid or something or is this normal?

Sounds like you are experiencing panic attacks. I used to have them too and I would have thoughts like you are having and feel scared and uneasy almost all the time. I got on an anti depressant (paxil) which is also an anti-anxiety medication and it really helped. If you can talk to your family doctor, that would help. Are you living at home with your parents? If so, tell them what's going on if you can talk to them. If not, talk to your school nurse or a teacher you can trust if you are still in school. There is treatment for what you have, don't give up!

Tony, I went through that a lot when I was your age. I'm 27 now, and I still get seized by these somewhat irrational fears from time to time. I remember once when I was about your age, I made my mom unplug all the lamps, TVs, etc. in the house before I went to sleep because I was afraid something would catch on fire and burn us all up overnight. Another time, when I was about 21 or so, I got so freaked out imagining that my boyfriend at the time was going to die that it was all I could think about for weeks. Just the other night, in fact, I was crying on the balcony thinking about how we all have to die someday, and we don't get to pick when it will be. I've never been formally diagnosed with anything, but I really don't think this is happening because I'm mentally ill. I think it happens at periods in my life when things are going SO well that I think something must be getting ready to go horribly wrong, because nobody should be allowed to be that happy. I'm a chronic, natural-born worrier, and I guess I always will be, and you might be too. I'm sure there are some anti-anxiety meds out there that could help you, but I've been around people who are on them and they act like zombies. Good luck!

O.k., question number one.... are you on any type of medication? Some medicines can give you a "paranoid" reaction - especially those that are supposed to help with depression and stuff like that. If the answer to that is no - and you have NOT been using any type of illicit drug, then I would suggest you talk to someone (an adult) you trust.
It sounds to me like you have experienced a trauma that has left you marked or you may be reacting to all the things going on around you (home and in the world) and not even realize it.
The most important thing to remember is that you do not need to die for this - you just need to talk to someone that you can tell EXACTLY how you feel and allow them to help you work it out.

I'm sorry that your feeling so horrible...what a living nightmare! I really suggest you see a therapist or talk to your doctor ASAP. It sounds like to me you may have OCD..an obsessive compulsive disorder, but it's OK. I known a few people with these problems and their living happy lives. You shouldn't put off getting any help if you're this miserable...It may not be as serious OCD, but you need to get to the root of the problem and have someone help you figure out what has triggered this nervous behavior. Good luck...get help!

Did anything happen to trigger this? Talk to your parents or a school counselor about it. Sounds like you need some counseling- just try the best you can to relax and do other things to keep your mind off your anxiety. This is a page with a lot of tips about breathing exercises to help you http://panicdisorder.about.com/od/shbreathing/Breathing_Exercises_and_Techniques.htm

you're being paranoid. seek some professional help if it affects your health. think of happy situation to every occasion instead of thinking negative things. negative thoughts that flows can have a bad effect on other people. it's the power of the mind. my mean co-worker will say mean things and one time i was fed up and i thought and wished that she will trip or something and she did, i was so sorry after that. you don't want to wish ill to anyone no matter what the situation. stop your train of thoughts when you're starting to think of this or that might happen. something triggered this kind of emotions in you and you need to talk to a professional to find out and help you. take care.

It is not normal, it sound s like you may becoming a paranoid schizophrenic. you may want to be checked. A fear of something happening all the time is not good. and when you fear something toomuch, you can actually draw that fear to you. This is called Rabbit medicine among some Native Indian cultures.

are you doing drugs?
heheheh
just joking...
first of all...
if you convince yourself that there is something wrong with you it`s going to get the problem worst...
just relax...
use logic...
think...
man what are the chances of this plane crash in my house...
the plane goes really fast..
by the time you listen to it it will be far enough to fell miles away from your house...
use logic...
that's the solution...
peace!
