My cousin comes over and get on and hes always blowing smoke on my screen.I wander if I should make him stop.Its a 20" flat panel that is brand new and I want to keep it that way

Smoking will discolor the screen, ruin the keyboard, fog up the CD lens, gum up anything mechanical....Just get a bucket of nicotine sludge and throw it on the computer. The results will be the same, and you'll save a lot of time.

Yes it can discolor the screen. The nicotine will eventually build up on the screen. You should probably just tell him you're worried about it and want him to stop. Otherwise you'll be cleaning it constantly

Of course, it will form a film on the glass. ~
Anyone coming for a visit, who wants to smoke has to do it outside. LCD screens are much more sensitive and tougher to clean than CRTs.

I used to work for a company that darn near every one that worked there smoked. There was smoke matter every where including the monitor and even inside the few PCs I opened. My thought are that it is your house, your PC, your rules.

uhhhhhhhh yeah it can discolor it just tell him that when you are smoking next to it is going to get missed up!!!!!!!!!!!
