An amazing piece of art (music, painting, sculpture, theater, whatever), something so good that it just seems otherworldly. I could name many that do it for me, but I am sure you know what I mean.
A place that has been around for centuries, like Stonehenge, or a castle or cathedral - imagining the people and events that have touched it.
The strength of a stray animal alone in the winter rain.
Being part of a group of people that has come together to change something that is overwhelmingly wrong. It doesn't happen often, but when it does...
I'm sure there are more, but that's a start.

Started thinking about good music - and ended up with people again. Music can really take my breath away, but when I hear a truly magnificent singer it feels like a punch in the abdomen and the tears will start coming out. Try listening to Camaron de la Isla. His voice comes straight out of his soul.
A painting can do this too, a dance performance, a poem. Art, in short.
A scenery, being in it and opening your eyes, and realizing that you are somewhere totally amazing.
Just thinking about this beauty makes me embarrassingly sentimental right now.
