I think there is for just about anybody. Some people sweep it under the rug, others re-live it daily, but most people would rather just shove it to the back of their minds because it really isn't healthy. We're all human and we all have our knawing discontentments we have to carry throughout our lives. It's all about how we deal with them that matters.

yes i self blame me a lot.. i was a unwanted child and my parents made sure i knew it.. if something happen i got whipped.. and i do mean that.. i was told more than once that they wished i had never been born.. so i always wondered what i did to make them hate me.. there are times i still do.. but now i don't hate my self for breathing the air that someone else could use. i like my self more now than ever before.. and i know i am a loving person and a caring person and that i have worth. but i still blame myself for being born at times and that i no good and junk like that.. and i am over 60

I try to think that it isn't my fault when i know it that something would have happened anyway...blaming myself when i didn't do it even though i could have somehow changed it but, i usually know that i had no way of knowing so i don't blame myself :-)
