for every man that cheats, there must be a women that's willing to cheat too.
The only reason men run after their desires more often, is because a women doesn't have to, she'll have a horde of unfaithful guys hounding at her doorsteps the moment her husband is away.
Both men and women are unfaithful, and it is rare and biological unsound for a relationship to be monogamous. consider yourself lucky if you find a faithful companion.

Why are women who have tupu as their name on yahoo answers generalize and stereotype people? I think people should see others as people, not broad groups that encompass roughly half of the humans alive. And I've never seen the Dalai Lama run after his desires, and he's a man right?

Men have an unlimited amount of seed to spread. Women have a limited number of seed to spread and a NEED to invest time in raising the time consuming human off spring. Men look to impregnate and leave hoping some "dupe" will raise their spawn, while women seek just that- the stud to impregnate them and the "dupe" to provide Male Parental Investment (MPI.) Human nature, nothing wrong or evil or malicious about it.

and actually from what I've seen in love, there are women who pursue their desires too, even when they're supposedly happily married with children. It works both ways.
Just as some are content with what they've got.
