If not, could you change that?

Please answer genuinely. That's all. =)

It's hard for me to answer that. Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not. I have a family to fall back on, I have high hopes for my future, and I enjoy learning, so when I think of all I have, I'm happy. When I think of everything I don't have(like close friends, confidence), or what the world is lacking(like common sense and sympathy) I am so unhappy I feel like I don't even want to continue living to see what becomes of the world.

However, I always think about what the future holds for me, and that keeps me going and happy in life.

Thanks you guys for answering!

I was kind of sitting on the fence about this topic. My ex actually put it into perspective for me. My life is pretty good.
I'm 22, and I own two houses with my brother. I live with him in one, and I consider him one of my best friends. I have a new car, that I also bought on my own. My job is good, nothing great, but I do enjoy it for the most part. I am now in the best shape of my life. I have the best family life, and the best friends a person could ask for.
I live in a country without war in it, and in an area with virtually no natural disasters.
I'm single, and partying it up and just living life. I couldn't ask for more at this point.
After being in a crappy relationship for 4 years that really brought me down, I'm finally really happy. I've learned who I am and what I will and will not tolerate from other people.
I wouldn't change anything at this point.

Edit:
To Ruby R
I know exactly how you feel I was in the same situation with my ex. I broke up with him two years ago, but it took up until a year ago for me to finally realize it was over, we were so back and forth. And he'd gotten a new girlfriend, while still being involved with me. I was crushed, and I'm pretty sure I was battling depression for a few months. But I have finally moved on. And I'm so happy I did. So stay strong, you can do it, and you will be happy again!

Yes, I'm very happy with my life. I have an amazing boyfriend, wonderfully ecclectic friends, and a crazy family who I find hilarious. Really, I have everything I need in life to be happy... love, music, friendship, nature, and a sense of humor. Sometimes I can be annoyingly optimistic, but apparently that's what my friends like about me.

That's not to say bad things don't happen to me. They most certainly do. But I also have some of the greatest people ever behind me, they're incredibly supportive, and they tell me all the time that they love me. I'm a very, very lucky person. The past year, while it's been the hardest year of my life, it's also been the happiest I've ever had.

What about you? Are you happy with your life?

yes I am happy. Recently, my father passed away from Leukemia. And Watching him pass on has really changed me in a way I never thought I would. I appreciate Life and what I have so much more because I never realized how fragile life was until I was with my dad one moment...and the next moment he was gone.

I've learned to be happy with what I have but never give up either.

Sometimes I feel like I was cheated. My father passed away so early in my life (Im only 20) And I feel like I didn't get to spend the most important times of my life with him.

But everything happens for a reason...And knowing that I have a family that loves me and cares for me is all I need to be happy... At least thats the most important thing.

overall..I couldn't be happier.

If you had asked me a week ago, I would have said no. I was feeling like I wasn't where I wanted to be in my relationship, my career, etc. However, now that I have reassessed everything in my life and compared what I've got with what others have, I really can say I feel truly blessed. I have a wonderful, attentive (albeit commitment-phobic) boyfriend, a lovely apartment, the world's greatest dog, a really supportive mom, great friends, a job where I'm truly appreciated, and more money than I've ever had in my adult life. More importantly, I'm in great health and it's summer, my favorite season. So yes, I would say that I am happy with my life.

you know what i am happy in my life. I have a girlfriend who loves me friends who care about me and I'm dedicated to being the best person i can be because i want to be. I don't have to hide behind a happy mask or a plastic smile and i think that makes me one of the happiest people on earth. I may not have money or power but i have companionship and trust and that's whats important.

Yes, I am happy! I have a great job, a loving man, an adorable child, reliable friends, and a loving family. What more could I ask for?

i can't say that i am happy right now but i intend to be happy..i can never be happy with material things..though money is important in our day to day life..friends and family can bring us down from time to time but that shouldn't bring us down..for me happiness is the hardest thing in the world to achieve but one step to have that is to be contented..so what i did is a made a list of what i want to have (material and not) and i aim for it..take it one day at a time..so i have something to look forward to..i do hope you will be able to have something to look forward to so you wont feel that you dont want to continue living in this life..life's a ***** we just gotta find a way to handle it! take care!

I enjoy my life. I am not always happy with way things are but i enjoy the experiences regardless. I think its all a matter of perception.

Here is what I'm thankfull for.

My wonderful boyfriend.

My loving family.

My music.

My students.

My friends.

I would change my job. This is what makes me truly unhappy. But we can't have it all, can we? Or not yet anyway.
