Give me some good, solid Hard Rock. Not any Heavy Metal, with all the pounding bass drums. And not any oldies like Zeppelin, Guns N Roses, etc, because I know all those oldies. I'm talking about stuff that pumps you up, Stuff with pounding riffs, but still maintains some melody. Thanks for any help!

I haven't had much experience with Sevendust, but from what I've heard by them they're hard rock..

i'm a big fan of Buckcherry...and Jet...also Velvet Revolver...those are some modern day, hard rock, in your face type of bands...and they still have the temperament to write a decent power ballad if they want to.

check out Ignite. they're a hardcore band, but no pounding bass drums and stupid growling. their singer's classically trained, and the riffs are fast, pounding skate-punk. and their lyrics are intelligent and polemic. i like to listen to them when i skate and stuff. just check em out and tell me what you think.
