I left a tip that was more than 20%? The waitress was really sweet, giving us extra dessert, taking a pic of my boyfriend and me, and telling us that she thought we were a cute couple. She deserved it, so I wonder if what I did was really a "good gesture."

I was coming home from work through town a few weeks ago. I saw a little boy of about 3 come out of a shop on his own, walk up the street and turn a corner. By the time I caught up with him he realised he was alone and was distressed. I asked him his name but he didn't speak English. I took him by the hand and he came back with me to the shop. I asked the people inside if they knew where his mother was but she had already left. We lingered outside the shop when his mother came rushing up to us. She grabbed him and slapped him. I stepped forward instinctively and she pushed me so that I fell against the shop window. But I left with a smile. She shouldn't have slapped him but she had lost him and it had frightened her. It was just a mother's love mixed with adrenalin. When I looked over my shoulder she was carrying her child and they were both clung tightly together. It was nice to see. It meant that everything was as it should be.

Well, It was just today thank you for asking :)
I told or I made a gesture to Chester to rather," Grow up, get a life and to adopt a whole new attitude!"
It had to be one of the sickest posting I've came across, either than $mitty or skinhead charlie's remarks this week alone.

It was two fingers to the Idiot in the BMW who cut me up on the M60 today , that was definitely a good gesture.
