This question sure comes up a lot. It's impossible to say without knowing if the car needs any body repaid before it is repainted or not. If it doesn't need any at all, and that's unlikely, to repaint a car another color, the right way, is a very expensive proposition.

You have to paint the inside of the trunk, door jambs, and other hard to reach places because of the color change.

The size and complexity of the car's body comes into play, too. But you're talking about extra paint, reducer and clear coat to change colors anyway, so there is no savings to be had there.

That would depend on the size of you car and the quality of work you want. It can range from less than 1000 to tens of thousands

A friend of mine has an F150 Ford pickup and he said they wanted $5000 to paint it. I live in Colorado.

Total repaints usually run 3-4000.00 for a quality job depending on the vehicle---best to take it to several bodyshops in your area for estimates.

$1000-$5000 for a good job. $400-$800 for a crappy Maco job.

There used to be an adage that went "if you have to ask the price, you can't afford it" so, I will let the old adage speak for itself.
