I would agree that it is better to be around people more than being alone. However, alone time is good, and being a loner is fine as long as one can still be social with others and not be restrained ........

for me it when i am in the mood.. when i have to wait for someone to come out of a operation i like to be alone.. everyone else thinks i should have lots of people with me but i like being alone at times like that.. but there are times i like people around i love talking as long as i have something between me and the person.. when you are real sad it best to have others around or you could have thought that are not good for you..

No there are times one doesn't want to be bothered by anyone. Especially if you feel they don't understand where your coming from. Why you feel strongly about something they think you should just let pass.

As long as you know that they can help you lift up your spirits, why not? Furthermore, being sociable makes you a better and happier person.
