Is anybody surprised that the Yankees still have not made a big trade?
Do you believe they will or is Brian Cashman to scared to pull the trigger as his days are numbered with the Yanks.

The yankees should be looking to swing a couple of deals...with them in third place they should shake things up a bit, maybe send abreu away....if they can not seem to work a deal out w/ a-rod and they know for a fact he's not gonna be in yankee pinstripes next year sell him high and get as many prospects and players that will a) restock the weak yankees farm system and b) give the yankees some players to be competitive. The time is now to rebuild if a-rod isnt comming back cause posada and mariano arent getting any younger and their attempt to stack their team w/ good players has failed...hughes looks like your ace of the future and karestens (iunno if thats how his name is spelled) looks pretty good as well (potentially a solid number 3)...so am i surprised they havent made a big trade yes...but there is plenty of time for them to swing a deal still

Cashman knows he's gone after this yr, he isnt even gonna bother makin a trade.

They can't trade for someone
Do you see how much money they have on all these players?
and they wanna give a-rod 30 million a year, they won't have anyroom to take a big contract.
They will have to make do with the players they have now
It's Do or Die for the yankees this month
Let's Hope it's a die!

He's gone on record saying he will not mortgage the future for today. We have a great farm system for a change and when the Kids come up, watch out.

in think they have a good team but they have to cut down on the salaries but they do need pitching
