it was okay, but it was totally choppy and way too fast paced and they left out so many amazing parts and details from the book. If you did not read book 5, then you are missing out on an amazing story because the book was 100x better than the movie. there are AWESOME parts in the book that i was totally disappointed i didnt see in the movie.
I dont even know how people that didnt read the book could understand most of what was happening in the movie, because it didnt explain or show how they did anything.

It can best be described as a 2hour 15 minute trailer!
The movie was such quick paced it had no build up or intensity at all. It jumped from sequence to sequence without taking time to develop any character or connection between characters.
I am not going to destroy it like most super-fans do, but it was a C- at best.
I understand that the audio version of OOTP took 26hours to read, so a lot had to be cut out. However, they still needed to develop what they kept.
In watching the series so far you would have no idea that Voldermort fears Dumbledore. The fight at the end of the movie made it seem like Dumbledorewas struggling to fight him, when in the book he is calm and collected.
The movie was basically a picture book, quick little bits to what characters may look like, but no development to relationships at all!
C- I am glad the book comes out soon, so hopefully it can clean the poor taste in my mouth from this movie!

I can't decide whether I liked it or not.
On the positive side, I thought the plot line was smoother and the lighting reflected the darkness of the story.
None of the actors looked very good. It seems that the director wanted them to appear more natural and the lighting was bluish and dark.
On the other hand, I liked the catchiness of the other movies. The first two were colorful and the third one was comical.

I actually liked this movie more than any of the other movies. Yes they did leave some things out that where vital but they reiterated those in a different way in the movie. I liked this movie simply because of its different filming style. It was more whimsical than any of the other movies that I had watched of the Harry Potter series. Give it a two thumbs up.

I thought it was very good, but they left a lot of stuff out that was in the book, which disappointed me. Not my favorite, but I'd still pay 8 bucks to go watch it a second time. Anyone wanna go?? :)
