hey I was trying to run rise of nations gold but it tells me
rise of nations cannot run with the monitor display set to 256 color
please change monitor display to 16-bit or greater.
I am running vista and have radeon 7500 mobility radeon card.
how do I change it
in display settings it says
medium 16 bit
high24 bit
highest 32 bit
I tried all these but it doesn't work

Just a question: did you restart the computer after making the changes?

Go to Control Panel and see if there is an icon for your video card settings. Try changing the display settings there.
