Dont be mean just encourage him to be active. Go play sports with him or take a walk. Making fun will only make him eat more. Be gentle and supportive

First of all, stop calling him fat. He is only 8, if he is overweight it is not his fault. If you really want to help him, take him outside to play ball or some other outdoor activity.

Put him on a diet. And get rid of all unhealthy foods.

Move all the snack food to the top shelves everywhere. Confiscate all the stuff he's hiding, and put on the shelves he CAN reach veggies and fruit! And put a card on the counter that says: MUAHAHAHAHAHA! WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF HEALTH, FATTY*!

Put him to feel the burn!!!!! Exercise or just simply put the food in a place far far away from him!!

Stay out of his way and if gets in urs then u have to tell him like it is. Don't be harsh but give it to him straight.
