Bin Laden is sitting , laughing, and planning. Imagine one man with a small organization causing enough of a distraction as to spread " the one true superpowers" military to the breaking point. Not a coalition, not even a country, just a small group. And for you people who will try to claim that it hasn't been stretched thin, talk to the guy who has been ordered to go back for his fifth tour of duty and is taking it to court. Your armed forces are so tired and depleted that if a real war occurred you would be toast.

Actually, I'd like to know how much of an interest bin Laden's family has in Halliburton or other companies providing war equipment and services. If we find out that the bin Laden family has been contributing or getting money to fund our attacks on Iraq and Afghanistan through their U.S. Subsidiaries of foreign corporations, then you'd know that we're just puppets on a string supporting them with U.S. dollars. Halliburton has already been chastised for overcharging the U.S. Government for supplies and goods related to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Why do you think Halliburton is taking their headquarters to Dubai? Can the USA punish Halliburton in Dubai? What authority does the USA have to punish foreign corporations for their failure to obey U.S. laws? The only one I know is to "Nationalize" the corporations -- which means the Government takes them. How likely is that to happen? Stupid? No, he's wallowing in the money he's gaining from the war as is Halliburton and other rich people and foreign corporations. War is profitable for them but is extremely expensive and deadly to those dumb enough to fight the war for them. How long do you think this war would last if George W. Bush's daughers, his brothers, his brothers' children and all his relatives had to go to Iraq and Afghanistan? What would happen when all the Senators and congressmen had to commit their children's lives to this war -- or better yet, their own lives?

Sad but true.
It is a shame to this Nation that we did not Capture Bin Laden.
We had Global support on 9-12 If we had acted prudently and dragged Bin Laden to the Hague. There would be no war on terror. There would be no New Jihad Recruits.
Oh well 20 20 hind sight.
Go Team Bush Go

The sad thing is we're spending $12 billion a month fighting in Iraq, while Osama and his cronies are in Afghanistan or Pakistan.

Republicans keep saying, "There's been no attacks since 9/11!" But now, I ask ya... why would Bin Laden attack America? Between Bush and the Republicans selling the farm and tearing America apart... what could Bin Laden do to make it any worse?
He just has to sit back and watch the Republicans destroy America for him.

Yes he did. It was his stategy in fact. He was counting on the Dems acting like they are & causing disent as well. The man is not dumb. What he didn't calculate is how that to the US economy that is just a drop in the bucket & that we could sustain our action.
And the US isn't getting anything kicked in Iraq. Or have you failed to notice that your hero Saddam is no longer breathing?

Even worse. 12 Billion a month to NOT fight him. But instead, kill the guy down the block while he rebuilds his network and gets stronger!

Uhhh... In case you hadn't noticed, UBL isn't in Iraq. We're spending a lot less than that in Ash-can-i-stan going after him.
If we'd kept our focus on him instead of being distracted by some tin-pot dictator that posed no threat to us, UBL & AQ would be history and the troops would be home with their families now.
