It can best be described as a 2hour 15 minute trailer!
The movie was such quick paced it had no build up or intensity at all. It jumped from sequence to sequence without taking time to develop any character or connection between characters.
I am not going to destroy it like most super-fans do, but it was a C- at best.
I understand that the audio version of OOTP took 26hours to read, so a lot had to be cut out. However, they still needed to develop what they kept.
In watching the series so far you would have no idea that Voldermort fears Dumbledore. The fight at the end of the movie made it seem like Dumbledore was struggling to fight him, when in the book he is calm and collected.
The movie was basically a picture book, quick little bits to what characters may look like, but no development to relationships at all!
C- I am glad the book comes out soon, so hopefully it can clean the poor taste in my mouth from this movie!

i personally was highly upset. the movie didnt show alot of the small details that is going to be important in the following movies. the actors were fine (i am a danielle radcliffe fan) but they focused so much on proffessor umbridge that they missed out on showin snapes dark mark tattoo and showing how it moved like the other deatheaters. they also didnt show the penseive. they changed it and made it so that harry used a spell to see into snapes mind which is not how it happened. they never even showed the part when harrys mom stands up for snape. they messed up so much and i'm mad because they've done better in the past.

Not bad, a typical Harry Potter movie.

I really hated the other movies. They were like warped versions of the books. Order of the Phoenix was my favourite book of the series, and I was really worried they would mess it up.
I was wrong. It was amazing. Sure, there were many parts missing, like Harry's tandrum, but other than that, they paralleled the book quite well. Thye got Umbridge and Lona's personalities almost perfect!

It was good, there are some cool fight scences and great effects. They introduce new characters and show you a darker meanier side to Harry.
