Wonder if a manned mission to this asteroid is possible or what benefit there may be from mining the asteroid? What kind is it?

There has been no plans to land on it but somehow in the future they are thinking of blowing it up or somehow pushing it away with a satellite.

A manned mission to this asteroid is possible but they're probably wouldn't be much benefit from it besides the first person to land on a asteroid.

I think Apophis is a metallic asteroid.

If you read up on what the United nations has proposed, as a measure of preparedness, then you'll know that countries around the world are aware of the 45,000 to one shot. There is a contingency plan in the works.
