I saw him on stage for the first time in Vegas, along with Glen Cambell and I was part of his security detail in about '94 in Vegas at the Hilton Hotel. A real nice guy, so was his wife.

Great songs, great voice, and does a fabulous live stage show. Have seen him in concert on several occasions. Also a pretty good actor-loved the movie Pure Country.

I like some of his songs. However, I am drawn more to artists who write atleast some of their own material and George doesn't do this...

No I mostly listen to heavy metal.
But Aaaaaaall my ex's live in texas, and texas is a place I'dd really love to be.

I loved him when I was in college. He lived in the same town and I waited on him once in the photo shop that I worked in. He was very nice.
