All those rumor sites really dropped the ball on this one. Not even the slightest hint of Souray going to Edmonton. Just watch, Souray will pull a Nylander and sign with someone else tomorrow.

Souray allready signed. He went for a 5 year 27.5 million dollar contract with the oilers.

I'd love to see Souray in a Wild jersey!!! He'd be a great fit, we need an offensive defenseman the can shoot the puck, plus he plays a very solid brand of defense that Lemaire likes to see.....we'd have to axe Jonsson and his contract to make some cap room, but we could probably pull it off somehow....a wild fan can dream right.
I hate Anaheim!

no offense to Edmonton, I love my Canadian teams (except for TO..sorry, I just can't do it lol) , I just never even thought Edmonton when thinking of Souray.

doubt it ... he wants to go to a contender and no offense but edmonton has less to offer than the Bruins other than a huge contract
He will most likely end up in SJ or Colorado. SJ is my pick because the have the most talent to give him a chance at winning a Cup.

Go figure. NJ, San Jose and the Rangers all rumored to be in it and he ends up in Edmonton for the same money his old team paid to replace him!!!
