I was misinformed by the rco to fire low down but I misfired because I miscalculated what he said, so he shouted, " You idiot why did you miscount the range you've been shooting for 2 years now!!!"

Technically, I would correct the best prior answer to:
I'm not trying to misinform you, but if you miscount the number of milliseconds it will take that gun's bullet to reach its destination, and miscalculate the distance between said gun and said target, it won't matter anyway if your weapon experiences a misfire.

When I aimed for my ex-husband it was my misfortune to misfire and I curse the salesman who was ill natured enough to misinform me as to the range of the gun and to miscount the number of bullets which caused me to miscalculate the number of times I could shoot him.
"Misfortune" is thrown in as a bonus.

Many deaths are useless due to the misfire of a gun.
Our teacher should have the name of misinform for she often seems out to lunch.
