Well if your living with your girlfriend it usually means you guys have instantly clicked, or the relationship is very tight, or the guy doesn't have a home. But usually if your staying with your girlfriend it means you guys have a strong relationship. It really sometimes depends on how much you love each other, how old you are and how long you have been together.

Yes / No / Maybe ......?......Marrying someone doesn't ensure a good or long marriage.Living with your girlfriend, within or without marriage, in todays world,is an acceptable practice. Living common law or in marriage have the same set of rules that both must live by. When situations arise that are unresolveable and unbearable, a divorce of the two is the result. The goal of the couple must be permanance, if extentions to the family happen or are planned for. Permanance does not necessarily mean marriage, though many people view it as such.

Okay ~ so I am not a guy, but this is a pretty insecure question. Some guys DO actually want to get married. Maybe they aren't plagued by the urgency women feel to get married, but with the right woman . . . MEN do eventually want the commitment.

I think this is more of an issue of two people who are not mentally in the same stage of the relationship. Marriage is not just something you "do" because it is expected. If things don't work out in the long run . . . men usually end up getting shafted the most in Divorce Court.

Marriage is a public declaration of love and commitment. Living with someone says nothing to that person or the public. Depends on how you wish to be perceived by the roommate and others.

I know a lot of people who would say yes, but i don't agree. Being married is just like making a promise to one another. I don't think there is a true commitment to those who don't want to make those promises.

Let me pose a question to you "Why buy the milk when you can get the cow for free?" Meaning if a chick is going to do what a wife does without being the wife why marry...its unfortunate that a chick would allow herself to play wifey to a guy and can't even be covered under his insurance! I wouldn't settle...you either love me and be dedicated to me or stay single and we go on about our business in opposite directions!

Yes

Sad, but true.

If a men can talk a woman into being his live-in maid, cook and bedroom attedant without a commitment... he will keep it THAT way, easy.

Good luck
