For some reason, i admire making use of the letter J for naming characters interior the memories I write. (my own daughter has a J call.) Juniper is great. Jehosephat for a comical call. Jordan, for the two female or boy. July would be unusual as a recognition.

How about Geri? It's sometimes short for Geraldine, but it can be a name by itself. Or, Jersey, Jerri, even Jennie has that same kind of "feel". My cousin was married to a girl name Jerrilyn, but to me it's a southern sounding name, which isn't bad, but perhaps you don't want a regional sounding name.
