Seeing a parent verbally abusing or belittling a child and knowing there isn't anything I can do about it. For instance being at a grocery and hearing a mother curse and shout at a baby or a toddler or being at a baseball game and hearing a father ask a boy why he can't be as good at the sport as his older brother was and then seeing the hurt in their eyes.
