I loved the original Bionic Woman when I was in grade school...Lindsay Wagner was a role model for me.
I hope they are making the upcoming Bionic Woman just as great.

I also loved Wonder Woman.
They need more female superheros/superheroines/supersheros :) whatever term you choose.

special effects have really advanced since the bionic man and women were on the air......it should be interesting to see how they play into the new show.....so I will probably give it a try.......

Wow. And this is how I find out about show cancellations in the US! I really liked Bionic Woman. It was ... different. Had some cheesey stuff, sorta like most shows out there today. What I liked about it was a return to the "spy" kinda tv show. I really think we're missing that kind of genre in American TV. She could've been an emotionally stronger chick though.. Seems like in spite of her bionic-ism, she was still weak.

Yes.
I loved Lindsay Wagner. I even wrote in to her fan club at age 11 and was QUITE impressed to get an "Autographed Photo" of her. I always wondered what it would be like to date a bionic woman.
I've seen the teasers for the new one, and it makes me want to watch the show.
I hope Oscar Goldman isn't in the new one. Nobody can replace Richard Anderson, although having been born in 1926, I don't really care to see him on TV any more.
I always used to imagine I was bionic when I was in the swimming pool. I would go in slow motion (like one does, underwater), and push myself off the floor of the bottom of the pool and as I was ascending to the surface some 8 feet above, I'd hear that "dit-dit-dit-dit-dit-dit-dit" in my head that you'd hear on TV whenever she was using her bionics.
That was a great sound effect, wasn't it? I wonder how they made it? I bet that anyone who heard it would instantly recognize it.

I'm curious to see if the new one does a decent job. Lindsey Wagner will always be the Bionic Woman but I'm willing to give the new girl a shot.
