Elizabeth is a beautiful name, but I prefer Beth as a nickname rather than LIz. I think of Liz Taylor when I see the name Liz.

I don't know anyone with the given name Liz, they are Elizabeths. So name her Elizabeth and call her Liz. I have never known a girl named Liz who wasn't good-looking.
