My own personal WAR is waged right here at home, on a daily basis. I have an H who is a control freak!

War is a prolonged state of violent, large-scale conflict involving two or more groups of people. It is the biggest waste of human life natural resources and goods that I can think of. I truely believe if there is any alternative that war should be avoided.

I think of George W. Bush who send people to war, but has no family in the war himself. I think of children being lost. I think of young American soldiers coming home missing limbs. I think of sadness.
War means nothing but needless lust for power. We are not fighting terrorists, we are the aggressors. Peace is the only solution to this conflict.

some sort of regression. a segment of humanity renouncing our potential for creative endeavor in favor of the destructive impulses one would have thought we'd by now have outgrown. If we avoid destroying ourselves we will have to reach a point that war is unthinkable. It looks like a long time coming though

Complete and utter sorrow.
I think of the lives lost and those that survive are faced with horrid visions and burdens. Devastating for the families and the land. So pointless and all about power but justice.
