No. Though unfortunately, it's reinforced my general belief that a large portion of the population consists of selfish, self-righteous racists and bigots that are too cowardly to slander you and your family to your face. On the plus side, it cuts out a lot of the bogus nonsensical "love the sinner, hate the sin"- type rhetoric that the news media is too cowardly to call people on when it accompanies blatant hate speech.

No, they haven't. But I have gotten a little ticked off at the ignorance and the evilness behind some people's answers. Nothing ticks me off more than a lack of respect ESPECIALLY when I am giving respect.

Hurt? NO Way..consider the source before allowing your feelings to be hurt.
Offended? No Way...too many idiots here to be offended...easier just to block them in your list.
Upset? No, again, consider the source.
Surprised? YES...occasionally, I will answer a question truthfully, and the asker will fire me an email cursing me out as an old man who has lost touch with reality????? Usually, this is children ..but you should hear the mouth on them!

Naah, life's too short.
However, the energy that some people put into defaming and trying to demoralize others is really disappointing. A certain petroleum-based life form comes to mind.

I guess I'm just someone who prefers to try and lift people up, rather than put them down.

remember when the bathroom stalls in high school were where all the slime slinging was written? well, the internet is the biggest bathroom stall of them all. then again, i also remember having to go to a library to look something up in an encyclopedia . . . and now i google. it's not all bad and it's not all good, but it will definitely show you the importance of having a good head on your shoulders.
