Little sizzlers or some other brand of pre-cooked sausage links wrapped with stretched out refrigerated biscuit dough ( the kind in a tube) on a stick.
Or just the biscuit wrapped around a stick carefully, cooked and THEN fill the hole with butter and jam, chile, or?
Choose a stick that will leave a larger hole for filling and pinch the end closed before cooking.
They are easy, cheap, filling, don't take up cooler space and leaves very little to clean up or throw away.

I would have to cheat,
Chicken is a good stand by, I would bring it with me, but if i'm camping out at the beach, definite:
Seafood and veggies.
Heres a suggestion:
Take to the beach with you, a small hibachi grill, some pam, your favorite veggie and meat selection, along with a little bit of slightly undercooked rice, some heavy duty aluminum foil, Have all the ingredients in a tight lid, easy wash plastic containers. Enough cutlery as needed. And your favorite seasoning along with your favorite cooking sherry or white wine.
Place the meat and the seasoning layered in the middle of foil, place the veggies on the bottom, meat in the middle (layered) place seasoning on the meat and veggies, pour the appropriate amount of sherry or wine , turn the up the ends of the tin foil until they are completly sealed. place over moderately hot coals. But not directly over them. wait for steam to appear coming out of tin foil. if you need to poke a couple of holes in the top to the foil, but not too many.
Prepare the rice, same fashion, place it on the grill and when the fish is done , the rice is done.
When you cook meat like chicken, spray some pam unto the cold grill first before you place it over the fire. Light the charcoal and whenthe charcoal is ready, then place the sprayed grill over the chacoal and the meat unto the grill.
Moderate the temparature of the charcoal at the beach by using salt water, but be careful how you pour it on, pour it slowly at the edge of the charcoal and allow the steam from the salt water to rise up into the food to naturally season the meat. Do not apply directly into the charcoal, to limit the charcoal dust from adhering itself to the meat.
This is a quick and easy way to eat well at the beach or the park.
Remember, when dealing with chicken or any meat, clean your hands and utensils immediately after handling raw meat of any type. Clean as you go and limit cross contamination.
Bon Appetit!!!

Partially cook (blanch) potatoes and carrots, store in a seperated container until ready to use.
Hamburger patty
sliced onion
Wrap all of the above in heavy aluminum foil sealing the ends well so drippings won't come out.
Throw onto hot coals
cook for approx. 10 min or until hamburger is to your liking.

Pillsbury dough with cinnamon and sugar and lots of butter, as well as carrots and brown sugar in a little tin foil pouch. It worked really well one time, but I could never get it exactly right ever again.

Smores of course, but have you ever tried Starburst? Don't let it catch on fire, just till it's hot. It's fantastic!

Campers pies. Two slices of bread toasted with pie filling in the middle. They make a little toaster with long handle.
