The whole of our ground floor is...it used to be carpeted but 9 days after we moved in we got flooded and were out for 7 months while they rebuilt the ground floor. We had been renovating the house for 6 months so it was a bit of a bummer. Now we have it tiled so we don't have to replace them if the water comes back. We've just had a conservatory added which has underfloor heating too. My parents' en-suite and the guest en-suite is also tiled but mine is carpeted.
