The names sound great, but be careful with weird spellings. Those children will have to spell their last names to other people probably their whole lives, so maybe you want the normal spelling for Nicholas. Also, the length of the name should be considered. Your boys name is very long.

My two cents:

Both names have a nice meter to them; an almost musical quality. First/last names of three syllables each, and even with the middle names, they flow off the tongue.

"Avery," however, is androgynous. Unless you have a namesake in mind, I'd steer clear of that name. Then again, I'm male. ;-) Also, consider using a traditional spelling of Nickolas, unless you want most people to misspell your son's name for his entire life. It gets frustrating, trust me. My last name is a homophone for a girls first name, and how do you think it gets spelled?

Avery's not my favorite name, but I must admit that it fits great qith your last name. I really like her middle name.

I also LOVE the name Nickolas Anthony. And it goes well with the last name.
