Terrorist attack?

Do you think there will be one in the united states w/ in the next few months?

There is just a lot about Osama in the news lately, Just wondering what people are thinking about.

Sooner or later one will occur. So far we have been lucky with the cops/FBI, etc. catching these people and foiling their plots. It pays for the general public to be aware also of strange things going on around them and reporting if they see something odd or someone talking or acting odd. The cops cannot do it alone.

I think whether there's an attack or not has absolutely nothing to do with some flunky's gut feeling. Seriously, this guy is in charge of our safety and he's saying he has a gut feeling that something *may* happen in the near future? Since it's his responsibility to make sure that exact event is not supposed to happen, shouldn't he a.) resist making unsubstantiated claims and b.) direct that gut feeling toward preventing this attack to begin with?

What purpose does such a claim serve? If an attack doesn't occur then he can say, "I'm doing a splendid job aren't I?" and if an attack does occur then he can say, "see I told you so".

I believe there will be some sort of attack. There are so many places that lots of people go to at one time, example Disneyland, Mall of America that could easily be attacked. I think because it is Summer also. I hope everyone is wrong .

When the head of Homeland Secuity tells the nation he has a "gut feeling" that an attack is imminent, I tend to think yes, somethings up.
